Katherine Armacost has been showing her work since 1987 in solo and group shows in North Carolina, New York, and California.
She has received an emerging artist grant from the Durham Arts Council, first place awards from jurors Joan Snyder and Willie Cole,
and merit awards from Dore Ashton, Sarah Faunce, Charles Hinman and Josh Wu.
Her works are in public and private collections in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
